Difference between Old Testament and New Testament !!!

Continues... Part – 3
We are going to look at another thing Jesus said.

Matthew 5
27: “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’
28: But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Here as well, Jesus does not change the commandment given by Father God in the Old Testament but shows the root of the sin where it takes place.

The sin of adultery does not begin when a woman lustfully looks at a man or a man lustfully looks at a woman, but adultery takes place within his/her heart. That's how terrible it is. This very Word of Jesus makes clear to us how dangerous lust is.

That is why Jesus said…

Mark 7
20: And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man.
21: For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22: thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.
23: All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

“The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; Who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9) Thus, Jesus tells us how wicked our hearts are.

Many people think that they must not commit adultery as it is against God. But many are ignorant that the moment we look lustfully, adultery takes place within the heart, and we sin against God.

We must always realize that our body is the temple of The Living God. So then can we make our body which is the temple of The living God, the members of a harlot? Doesn't the Scriptures warn us that if you destroy the temple of The living God, God will destroy you? (1 Corinthians 3:17)

Today, the enemy places many evils before us every day to fill our hearts with adultery and fornication. The devil's purpose: to corrupt and destroy us so that we will not be seen as the temple which reveals the glory of God... Therefore, we must be very careful about the things we see, the things we hear, the things we taste and things which we feel.

Today, there are a lot of attractive outfits that expose the nakedness of those who wear them and induce lust. Once, The Lord showed me how unclean spirits possess fashion designers and lead them to design clothing that arouses lust in people. Many of the clothing fashions in practice today were brought into the world by the enemy. The leggings that are most loved and worn by women came from the devil. Unisex clothing such as low-hip jeans has come from the enemy.

Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!
(Matthew 18:7) That is what The Lord Jesus warns about those who cause stumbling blocks to others in this way.

But those who dress like this will haughtily say, “My life, my choice. Why are you interfering with it ?” They arrogantly say, “ The problem is not in my clothes, the problem is in your sight, fix yourself. ”

Scripture advises us that we must all wear modest clothing. (1 Timothy 2:10).

We must not be a stumbling block to others and at the same time we must also not stumble looking at others. The Lord Jesus says about it :

Matthew 5
29: If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
30: And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

You may be startled as you read these verses. One may wonder at how The Lord is telling us to pluck out the organs of our body. The Lord did not say that these things should be done outwardly, that is…according to the flesh, but The Lord says that it should be done according to The Spirit. Let us see about that.

In the beginning I said... that we must be cautious of what we hear, see, taste and feel. It is only through these four senses that the desire in a human being is created. That is to say, based on the things that a person sees or hears or tastes or feels in his/her body, the desire and dislike whether he/she wants it or does not want it is created within them.

For example: When satan showed Eve the fruit of The tree of knowledge of good and evil, “The lustful desire to pluck and eat it and that it will be pleasant when she eats it” was such a sight that was created in Eve. Therefore, even before she could pluck the fruit and eat it, sin had conceived in her heart. Because of that lust, when she plucked the fruit and ate it, sin brought forth a painful child called death. This is how man lost God and the blessings He had given him and became cursed.

This is how, when a person looks at a woman or a man lustfully, adultery takes place within that person's heart. The consequence of it is that it will defile your life which is the Temple of God and cause no connection to exist between you and God. Therefore, The Lord says that we must destroy our organs which cause us to stumble so that this does not happen. How to do it?

(Romans 8: 13) For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by The Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

Before The Lord Jesus left this world, He looked at His disciples and said about the importance of the Holy Spirit, “It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, The Helper will not come to you; I will go to The Father and send you The Helper, He will guide you into all Truth. ” (John 16:7-14).

Therefore, as stated in Romans 8:13, by The Spirit of the Lord we can destroy the members of our body that cause us to stumble.

John the Baptist said by The Spirit of The Lord that our Jesus will baptize us with The Holy Spirit and fire.

If we report our members of the body which cause such stumbling to our Lord and pray unto Him to forgive our sins and deliver us, The Lord Jesus Himself will fill us with the Holy Spirit and burn with His fire such abominations found in the members of our body. Then the members of our body will be found holy. Thereby God will be glorified through our body which is the Temple.

Being ignorant of this, many from children to older people are ruining their lives with such lustful sins. But Jesus came into this world to deliver us from such secret, disgusting sins that are hidden in everyone's heart. So ask The Lord Jesus to remove such an evil heart from you, and He will create a clean heart within you.

Therefore, The Lord did not come to destroy The Old Testament, but to fulfill it.
